Hovis Presley’s Poetic Off Licence is entertainment with the emphasis on ‘tert’. Unusually, this first edition book comes with a signed Embassy fag packet complete with a great Hovis example of his brilliant  wordplay on one of Shakespeare’s most famous quotes. Written to me on the spot after his gig at The Temple of Inconvenience circa 1997 where he performed the brilliant poem Manchester which demonstrates not only his prowess with letters but also with numbers as well.
