I worked with Nikki through my PhD and she is brilliant. As someone with dyslexia, I often struggle with organising my thoughts and penning them to paper. Nikki is a highly proficient and experienced proofreader and editor who skilfully refines both the flow and wording of sentences and suggests ways to improve the structure of the text. I work as a freelance proofreader, and Nikki mentored me through my first large freelance job – a 70,000 word PhD thesis. Nikki assisted me as a scribe and study facilitator with writing my portfolio for my massage certification. Due to having ADHD and mild dyslexia I find it intimidating to read through lots of material and concentrate on getting the words out on paper. Although the subject matter (anatomy) was not massively familiar to her she seemed interested in what she was learning on the subject which helped me with studying. She was very good at keeping me focused and helping get the format right. And as my grammar is atrocious her high speck proofreading skills were highly appreciated. With both her attitude and her expertise I would highly recommend Nikki for any text project that you may have.
