Today is Mum and Dad’s 56th wedding anniversary. The love runs deep between these two, my two makers.
The hall light
stays on all night
waiting for me to come home.
Who would've guessed
I should never have left
apart for a long stretch to roam.
Tis only fools
And lonely souls
Who venture out for what’s under their nose.
If you are blessed
with a warm family nest
Then stay in the light of the home, the home.
Then bathe in the light of the home.
